Great test ride today! It was quite pleasant rlliong past places I've never really gotten to go before. A few things, though.Positives: -There were a lot of good straight roads with multiple lanes, leaving plenty of room for our group.-Lots of good food on the way back!-This section of the area seems less explored by bike party. Nice to get out every now and then Not-so-positives:-The hilly sections I see being tough forBike Partiers. A bunch of you guys (with a few exceptions) seemed to be experienced riders with big calves on road bikes. A good portion of the night riders consists of kids on bmx bikes, cruiser people, fixie-types, car-people-who-ride-once-every-five-years, trailer-towers, and first-timers. I recently srttaed bike commuting too to help save on gas. I live a long way from the office, so I got a Montague and I keep it in my trunk. So I still drive the first part of the commute, but ride the second. Because the right turn lane for cars is so long, cyclists are required to ride effectively in the middle of the road for a good 200 metres. The weight represents quality construction, and allows this bike to be ridden over potholes at 30mph downhill without breaking, day after day. You can literally throw it in an suv, and never worry about damaging it. The single speed makes riding it ultra-simple, and you get a GREAT workout when pedaling. Ultra-stable and a joy to ride. If you want multispeeds or less weight, choose a newer Dahon, but if you want ultra-reliability and utility, this bike can't be beat. And at this price, you can't go wrong. I motorize these bikes, and have never had a frame failure after 12,000 miles and 3 years on the same bike. I hope Dahon keeps making them forever. Awesome, ultra-tough bike !

I agree with Toffy. What you need to do as soon as you remove the bread from the oven, coat it all over with buettr. That will keep the crust tender and soft. It's the air-drying that hardens the crust.. . If you want the crust as hard as french bread, then you put a pan of hot water in the oven under the bread.. . So for your bread, buettr it all over as soon as it comes out of the oven.. . hope that helps.

I was just looking for a cheap knife to carry in case of an emenegrcy, and for the price, this one is great. Its the perfect size to carry in my pocket, but also long enough to be effective. With a little practice I was able to flick it open single handed, which is always a plus. The blade didn\'t come overly sharp, but the point is extremely sharp. The blade doesn\'t giggle at all. I imagine after a while it will start to, and I\'m not sure how I will tighten it then, but I expect it won\'t be too difficult. And as a final plus, the knife looks amazing. Sleek and cool, both open and closed, which isn\'t a necessity, but it\'s a nice perk.

This is obviously a copy of Cold Steel's Ti-Lite, and as a copy it comes up a ltltie short. However, as an inexpensive, quality folding knife, it's quite good. It wasn't very sharp when I first got it, but a few strokes over a ceramic hone produced a perfectly decent edge. The lock seems to be very positive and strong, and it is easy to open on the edge of your pocket (just like the Ti-Lite) with a ltltie practice. It is MUCH heavier than a Ti-Lite, but still not particularly heavy for a pocket knife of this size. If you like the look and feel of the Ti-Lite, but not the $50 price tag, go with this one.
